Return & Refund Policy
EU Customers (European Union) EU consumers have the statutory right to cancel their order within 14 days of delivery without giving any reason. The item must be unused and in its original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective.
UK Customers (United Kingdom) UK customers have the same 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective.
All Other Countries We accept returns within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in their original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective.
Vintage & Second-Hand Items The majority of our products are vintage and second-hand items. We describe the condition of each product carefully on the product page. Normal signs of wear and age-related characteristics are not grounds for return — these are part of the nature of the item and are always mentioned in the product description.
White Glove Delivery The White Glove Delivery fee is non-refundable as it covers a personal delivery service that has already been rendered at the time of the return request. The White Glove Delivery service is considered rendered once the delivery process has been initiated, including but not limited to vehicle dispatch, route planning, and handling of the item.
Payment for the White Glove Delivery service must be received in full before the delivery is carried out. Due to the exceptional and high-cost nature of this service, we are unable to commence delivery until full payment has been confirmed and cleared. The service commences immediately upon receipt of payment. Therefore, any cancellation must be requested immediately after payment has been made. Even in such cases, any transaction fees or payment processing charges incurred (e.g. bank or payment provider fees) will be deducted from the refunded amount.
By completing payment for the White Glove Delivery service, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and waives the right to initiate a chargeback except in cases of fraud.
We will notify the customer in writing when the delivery process has commenced. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to theplugofvintage@outlook.com immediately after payment and before the delivery process has commenced. Due to the immediate commencement of the service, cancellation cannot be guaranteed.
Once the delivery process has commenced, the White Glove Delivery fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, regardless of whether the order is subsequently cancelled or returned, except where required by applicable consumer protection law. In the event of a cancellation after delivery has commenced, we reserve the right to deduct any costs already incurred from the refunded amount, proportional to the service already rendered. Any costs deducted will be documented and provided to the customer upon request.
Delivery will be scheduled at a mutually agreed time after payment has been confirmed. We are not liable for any delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
For EU customers: disputes may be submitted to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
